How to set up notifications/reminders in an Android app?

To set up notifications in the app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the navigator.
  2. Go to the “Settings” section, then to the “Notifications and Reminders” section.

In the “Notify” section, you can enable and disable individual types of notifications:

  1. The option “About new assignments for me”: Notification appears when tasks are assigned to you.
  2. The option “About the completion of my assignments”: Notification appears when tasks you assigned are completed (the executor set the status to “Ready for review”).
  3. The option “About task discussions”: Notification appears when someone adds a comment in the chat (only in 3 cases: if it’s your personal task, if it’s a task assigned to you, if it’s someone else’s task where your comment is present).

Go to the “Reminders” section. Here you can configure a notification for the start of a task tied to a specific time:

  1. The “Reminders” option: Allows you to enable or disable notifications for the start of tasks tied to specific times.
  2. The “Vibration” option: Allows you to enable or disable vibration when notifications are displayed.
  3. The “Default Sound” option: If enabled, notifications will have the standard sound used for notifications on your phone. If disabled, notifications will have the signature LeaderTask sound.
  4. The “Before Start (in minutes)” option: Allows you to set the notification trigger time (at the task’s start time or 5/10/15/30/60 minutes before).
