How to attach a file/link to a file to a task?

In LeaderTask, there are two ways to attach a file to a task:

Method 1:

  1. Double-click on the task.
  2. In the panel that appears, click on the paperclip icon.
  3. In the opened window, select the file.
  4. Click the ‘Open’ button.

Method 2:

  1. Double-click on the task.
  2. In the panel that appears, right-click anywhere.
  3. In the opened menu, select ‘Attach File…’.
  4. In the opened window, select the file.
  5. Click the ‘Open’ button.

Method 3:

  1. You can also quickly drag and drop a file from the file explorer into the task notes.

Please note that the size of the attached file should not exceed 50 MB. Otherwise, LeaderTask won’t be able to upload the file to the secure cloud.

To attach a link to a local file/folder to a task:

  1. Double-click on the task.
  2. In the panel that appears, right-click anywhere.
  3. In the opened menu, select ‘Add Link to -> File/Folder.’
  4. In the opened window, select the file/folder.
  5. Click the ‘Open’ button (for folders, click ‘OK’ button).

Please be aware that:

  • Files attached to a task will be available for download to all users who can see the task.
  • Links to local files/folders will only work on your computer; your colleagues won’t be able to use these links.”
