How to edit tasks assigned to others?

You can make changes to 100% of the properties only for tasks that you have created.

For tasks assigned to you, you can perform the following operations:

  1. Change status (‘Not Started,’ ‘In Progress,’ ‘Postponed,’ ‘Rejected,’ ‘Ready for Review’)
  2. Write a comment in the task chat
  3. Set a specific day and time for the task (‘Date and Reminder’ property). Note: If the author of the task has set a date and/or time, and you as the assignee change it, the original author’s date and/or time won’t change (the task will become ‘Overdue’ for the author, while you will have it set for your chosen time).
  4. Set the planned execution time of the task (‘Plan’ property)
  5. Attach a file
  6. Attach a formatted note (as an .rtf file)
  7. Attach a link to a local file (located on the same computer where LeaderTask is installed)
  8. Attach a link to a local folder (located on the same computer where LeaderTask is installed)
  9. Take the task for execution (provided that the task is not assigned to anyone)
