Task management
task managementA task is the description of what should be done in order to achieve the expected result/aim. Tasks are displayed in the form of a tree where each task can have subtasks, thus hierarchy is built.

Task hierarchy is the possibility to divide a task into smaller subtasks (a set of steps to complete the task)

Main task tree features:

  • Full visibility. Full control. The task tree displays exactly the information you need at the moment.
  • Sorting. It is possible to sort tasks by any criterion: important/unimportant, urgent/not urgent, personal/business, home/in the field, today/tomorrow, etc.
  • Grouping. It is possible to show the exact set of tasks by the specified criteria: by project, by time, by category, by contact. Moreover, you can specify several criteria simultaneously and in any combinations!
  • Task periodicity. If you have a class of tasks that you need to perform periodically, you can easily solve this problem using periodic tasks.
  • Customization. You can customize the way the tree looks like. You can use the Options dialog box to change the color/font of text, the color of background, the style of tasks. Also, you can highlight any task using common tools: bold font, italics, underlined text, color.
  • Completed tasks. You can always show/hide completed tasks.
  • Usability. The task tree supports all commonly used key combinations.

When you add a new task, the fields currently selected in the Navigator panel and in the Bookmarks panel are automatically specified by default.

You can group all tasks by some criteria: by categories, by projects, by time, by contacts.
