Use filters to make plan your time in a more comfortable way! Filters are a unique advantage in LeaderTask - you will be able to view the list of your tasks the way that you find comfortable!
The filter will show only those that meet your conditions among all tasks. You can set up your filters to show tasks related only to project X or tasks related only to a certain place and person (context planning). Sample filters: УMy tasks for today" - will show tasks that you have to do today; the "Bank" filter will show you tasks that are related to the bank only. Other sample filters: "IMPORTANT", "URGENT", "Monthly sales", "Project XYZ in September", "Monitoring delegated tasks", "Topics for a meeting on the N project", "Overdue tasks", "Year goals"... The "Filter" feature is the most frequently used if you extensively work with the program. You can use filters to get precise data meeting the specified criteria. With the filtering feature, you can get a clear task overview regarding any aspect. It has been known for long that unless you have a clear overview of tasks for a period, you get the feeling that you cannot control time and this feeling makes you feel uncomfortable and even causes stress all the time. To avoid it, use the "Filter" dialog box in your work. The main purpose of filtering is to give you a simple tool for viewing future tasks. You can use the "Filter Library" dialog box to create your own filters that meet your requirements. You can see the list of all filters present in the program on the left. To make a filter available in the quick menu (opened by clicking the drop-down menu on the "Filter" button in the main toolbar of LeaderTask), you should set the Favorite property. Every filter has a name - it is the name that will be displayed in the filter menu and in the quick menu. Filter parameters are those conditions by which tasks will be selected and shown in the task tree. These parameters are projects, categories, contacts, periods. It is also possible to specify what types of elements to show: active tasks, completed tasks, links or notes. Use the "Navigator" and "Bookmarks" item to select what will be shown in the corresponding sections of the program. You can use filters to show tasks in any data aspect by any number of parameters. The important thing is that one and the same task can be shown in different filters. For example, the task that has the following properties: the "John Smith" contact and the "Work" category will be shown in the following filters: "Smith + Work", "Smith's tasks" and "Work". |
