I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy specializing in Philosophy of Technology. I am also a martial arts instructor working for a growing program which emphasizes the development of leadership skills. Add to that three young children and you have a scheduling, project managing challenge of the highest order. LeaderTask allows me to keep a single calendar for all my commitments while keeping projects and tasks separated. It facilitates finding all of my documents which eliminates the three separate briefcases I used to need to get through the day. It's portability on a USB device means that I can work from the university, the martial arts school, or my home without losing data or missing the transfer of an important appointment. The versatile color tracking system allows me to keep the children's activities clearly marked. With LeaderTask, I'm now able to focus my energies and watch my projects grow rather than scramble to keep up with my schedule every day.  I have been looking for a program that would serve as a “one stop shop” for all my projects, tasks and contacts and feel that LeaderTask is the perfect choice. As technology evolves, the ability to be mobile is invaluable. LeaderTask all my information into one place which provides me with access to the data I need within seconds allowing me to make well informed decisions at a moments notice no matter where I am. Assigning tasks to specific contacts is one feature I have found invaluable. I can follow up on delegated tasks and ensure my projects are completed timely with a click of the mouse. No more time wasted looking through folders and files to find the right information. Commercial Director Business. New projects. Creating and developing a new project requires attention and preciseness. There are no trifles in it. Any detail may turn into a drawback and a drawback may be fatal for the project. New trends appearing regularly are a peculiarity of my job. Something is dropped later, something turns into working schemes. Any project starts from creating a scheme. A scheme is a mind map. (I will not dwell on the convenience and techniques of using mind maps in this article, if you get interested, you can always find more information on the Internet.) A ready mind map is easily entered into LT with its tree-like structure of tasks. Then you only have to determine specific deadlines and assign responsible persons. Determine checkpoints. (A checkpoint is a point on a timeline corresponding to the time when the progress is checked in this or that project. The current progress of the project is checked, which makes it possible to track the dynamics and make amendments, if necessary.) After that you can use the obtained information to make a decision what to do next: - continue it; - stop it; - modify the direction of the project. |
